Anybody know what the two open to the sky rooftop areas are for at the top of the red cladded column facing east? With the rest of the building, they make me think of owl eyes.

It's so simple and I'm not sure quite what it is about the apartment tower, but I like it immensely.

They did well matching the spandrel glass panels. I also like the darker colour chosen here. It's very clean with only two short balconies on the front side. There's still the Juliet balconies to install. Hopefully, the good choices continue with those. There's quite a few of them.

It reminds me of some of the condo towers on the west side of Manhattan... a bit on the generic side for me, but a solid looking tower. At least it doesn't have the dated orange panels like the hotel.
Having said that, I do think 6th and 10th is the nicer looking tower of the 3 in the photo.

Yeah i'm glad they toned the orange down from the original designs. I don't mind a little colour - orange wouldn't be my first choice - but this still looks good.

I don't know where people are getting "cheap" from with the tower portions of this project. Though the podium certainly does look awful currently. The finished product may not be too bad, as I just found these on the IBI website...
