Great shot! Was driving down 10th for the first time in a while yesterday - man has these three towers changed the landscape there. Awesome to see the gap between DT and Beltline being filled along the tracks.

So finally weather was a little less like a polar winter inside an arctic circle and more like just a cold winter day so I couldn't resist a little walk.

A little update from today:

I'm really not a fan of the textured bunker look at the base of this thing.

I like it on the hotel portion, but it’s too much of a good thing on the other section.

The podium is not as good as I expected, but the tower portions are better. It's too bad they didn't pick a different material for the podium of the residential tower, or add more glass.

It's a brute, but once that fencing is down and there's the main level of full glass visible and you can see through into the building it should diminish the heaviness a minuscule amount.

The height of the parking floors in Guardian is about 15'. Not that that makes up all the difference. Combined with a possible slightly higher height per floor I could see it hitting the 127m. It's possible there was a mix up from IBI. Hard to say without seeing the latest DP. IMO the res tower looks taller in both the old rendering and the new one.

The retail floor and 3 levels of parking equate to 6-1/2 floors (going by a general measurement off the rendering) With a tower like Mark, the floors start counting right from the ground, and the main floor isn't terribly higher than normal. The bottom four floors of Mark are not much taller than 4 typical floors.

Whether or not it's 127m doesn't matter to me either, I just want the height to be accurate. True, it does seem a bit high, but when looking at the bottom 4 levels, and also the level between parking and first res floor, and the crown. It seems plausible.

Haha that's quite the first post bro. Welcome to the forum! And excellent shot.

Are you able to confirm the height of both towers? We've been going on 127 meters for the rental tower, and 117 meters for the hotel tower.
