Correct, but only United is year round. WestJet and this American Airlines flight will be seasonal.
It'll be nice to have another regular scheduled flight. Good for YYC.

Doing the math using the year to date increase of 3.36% that would put YYC at 16,207,484 passengers assuming the 3.36% increase stays for the last two months.

We get a new airline here tomorrow, Viva Aerobus is operating YYC-Cabo for Sunwing. Flight arrives on Saturday's at 1200 and departs at 1330. Operated by an A320. Flight VB7950.
Can't wait to check it out sometime. Me and my son like to hit the airports on Saturdays.

Delta is going to start flying the 717 here from MSP starting January 2nd. Definitely the first scheduled service of a 717 to YYC, not sure if one has ever visited before.

YYC is also celebrating their 16 millionth passenger today, stats on the website are only up to October and had the total at that point at 13,669,842.
I don't think I've ever seen a 717 in person...except maybe when I've been at Hartfield Jackson....might have seen one without realizing it. Will be nice to see one here at YYC.

I have come across them in Hawaii, as Hawaiian replaced their DC-9's with them.
