I've never paid much attention to the 717....I always thought they were just a DC-9 re-branded as a 717, didn't even realize they were different. It'll be nice to add the 717 to the list of YYC planes. Just need to get an A350 and an A380 here somehow.

I would love to see one come here, and who knows, it couild happen. We've had some smaller Antonov cargo planes here in the past year.

I read somewhere that YYC had its 16 millionth passenger not long ago. Given the numbers in November, plus an even busier December, YYC could possibly top 16.2m passengers for the year? Looks like YEG will again miss the 8M mark for the second straight year.

WestJet is moving the summer seasonal Whitehorse-Vancouver flight to Calgary. It will also operate 4x weekly instead of 3x as in previous years.
