Hasn't this building been open a while? Was the CRU just sitting empty? Weird they couldn't get tenants with all the high rises nearby.
That was the first Moxie's I ever went to.

Looks like the Bridgeland McDonald's is already open? I think I saw cars in the drive-thru. Curious to know if it's as... alive with street life as others in the inner city.

Yup those buildings are all done, IBU looks really good, need to try it soon. Another restaurant opened in the west building, Brioche, a french restaurant from the people behind the popular Avitus wine bar
On the other end of the spectrum, a little Vietnamese place opened up a block north of here called Banh Mi Boy, they have fantastic subs, probably the best I've had in Calgary. Highly recommended if anyone is in the area

I think it's a drive thru only location or with extremely limited seating. And I hope we don't get long drive through lines that spill onto Memorial.

First Street Market has been shut down due to a cockroach infestation, hope they get it under control soon, I like that place!
You don't hear about cock roaches being much of a problem in Calgary, but it only takes one of the restaurants to get the issue and it spreads quickly top the rest.

They are actually surprisingly common, but we just get the little ones, not the big gross ones. But still... 
A friend of mine lives in a concrete tower above a pub/restaurant, and pest control for roaches has been a constant thing the whole time he's lived there.
