Went to see our new library as it has been a while I've seen it in person and I was pleasantly surprised as they are moving along with it nicely. It looks like by the time it gets cold again the building will be nice and sealed and they could start working on the inside as exterior is nearing completion.
Here are some pics:

Work on a path to connect new library with river walk:
Work across the street in front of the Bow Valley College, I really like they are using European style brick tiles for sidewalk pawing instead of just pouring concrete, looks so much better in person:
Last piece - nose cone (not sure what would be the proper name for this piece) is being assembled, can't wait to see it finished:

Love this angle, with those old style little boutique hotels and this huge modern new library building behind, one of my favourite views in all of the city personally:

You can see a staircase in this picture behind the "nose cone":
Sweet update @Da_Master! I am liking the way this is turning out, I was starting to have doubts earlier but these last touches are starting to pull it together it's really looking good.
Agreed. While it is really starting to come together and is looking way better than I initially thought, I still wish there was more glass. The glass that is there is awesome and there should be more of it!
Part of what makes the building interesting for me is the contrast between glass / wall, and how that transitions from mostly wall to mostly glass. I'm am perfectly fine with the glass-wall ratio on this project, which is looking awesome!
