I think Delta operated ATL-YYC a few years back, would be nice to see it return.

I kind of remember that too, but don't remember why they cancelled it. Was it to do with NWA Merger, or was it way back before that?

I think it was prior to the NWA merger, I looked into it and it was only a 1x weekly service operating on Saturday. I think if they went for more frequency it could be more attractive (especially for business travel). As for aircraft type perhaps when Delta starts getting the CSeries it would be a perfect fit of size for the route.

I really would like to see Calgary pass Montreal again in annual passenger traffic. It would be a nice feather in our cap as a hub that has only a quarter as many people residing in the metro area.

Someone at Stantec here in town said capacity is 1 787-9 and 2 737 MAX 8's. So I'd guess you could fit 4 737's in there with nothing else.
