Ugh. An ocean of parking, right next to a station. And it doesn't even appear to be a park-and-ride. Just parking for the power centre

The best part, there's underground parking... Obviously not enough to accommodate everyone. Isn't the suburban business park (outside of industrial and light industrial) dead? You think they would do what Remington did in Quarry Park and pivot to residential.

I'll note that the image provided by CalgaryTiger for the Shepard Station is a bit outdated as the new PBS building is not shown as we have been advised. I'm reserving details at the moment because I am not sure how much information is public yet.

Back to the topic of the Green Line... We have a pretty good view of where the maintenance facility will be, so I will keep an eye out for any activity over there.

Hopefully they don’t cheap out putting the UV protection film on only half the windows and doing a random band on one side this time. Looks terrible on the current building.

Lots of enabling works have been ongoing for years, but actual construction of the line is supposed to start this summer. First thing we'll see is road/earthworks and piling for bridges

Not actual construction, but I’ve seen a whole bunch of soil sampling going on where the overpass will be beside the Deerfoot Casino at Barlow and 114th. Haven’t seen that before.

Yes, city is saying they expect construction to start on the downtown segment in 2027

That’s correct, for now at least the construction will be from Victoria Park to Shepherd.
