It should never have a combined name ( no "Downtown West - Kerby")
I think they did that because they wanted to give place names to the dual-platform bookend stations in downtown - City Hall fits this pattern. There was a whole rationale behind it when they redid all the 7th Ave stations.

I think Elbow Landing would be fun.
Reminds me of Bret Hart landing a flying elbow. Which is of course locally relevant!

There was a drilling truck and what looked like survey crews across 114th from the Deerfoot Inn and Casino. Looked like soil sampling in the ROW between the solar farm and commercial buildings on 114th. First time I’ve seen activity there. Could it actually be happening? Finally?!?

The Shepard MSF is going to Planning Commission next week:
Report, Background, Applicant Submission, DP Drawings

Not really a project conducive to glitzy rendeirngs, you can dig into the drawings if you want to see some of the site plan drawings, etc. There is this perspective though:

There is a decent amount of construction near 130th sorta behind the canadian tire, I wonder if it is for the green line

If it’s by the PBS building and Canadian Tire I was wondering the same but I think that might be the second phase of Shepard Station office park. I asked about it in the Construction thread too.

Coming off the bench here to no longer be a lurker. I work in the area of Shepard Station. You can probably guess where from the info below.

The current work being done is adding roads and other infrastructure. PBS has plans for a second building with construction likely starting next year.
To off this:

And for those who don't want to click... That part behind Canadian Tire is part of Shepard Station.

DP for Building 2 was approved in 2022. They do Identify that portion behind Canadian Tire as mixed-use TOD... so maybe some residential? Would be a residential island amongst a lot of commercial, good for the people who would live there though.

Ugh. An ocean of parking, right next to a station. And it doesn't even appear to be a park-and-ride. Just parking for the power centre 🫠🙃
