It really does! Saw the dusk view from memorial drive tonight and it's such an interesting contrast from the rest of the buildings going up in EV.

The final cladding will make this looks very sharp I think. The old warehouse window style will help retain the industrial look.

Interesting stuff going on at the ALT hotel site today and by the looks of it tomorrow. There is a temporary crane on site that is lifting extremely slim sections up to the roof and then sliding them down in between the pods that were installed earlier. These slim sections look like they contain all the plumbing for the building and must somehow connect into the internal plumbing of the pods. Regardless of what people think of the design this project has been extremely interesting watching how they build it.

Good thing I have friends in high places The panels outofoffice is referring to are 40' vertical service riser modules. They install from the top and go all the way down to the second floor, and two more are added on top to reach span the floors.
