It’s fine. Like many other proposals it’s not an earth moving design, but it does the job. All I care about mostly is the street level and it’s decent. It’s a heck of an upgrade from a parking lot.

Very strong numbers for Calgary, we’re kicking ass. It’ll be interesting to see if the population growth this year is reflective of the housing starts. If so, we should have some really strong growth in population.

My God, this is incredibly slow. We’ve seen some slow developments in Calgary, but this one has got to be the slowest of all time.

I agree an empty lot doesn’t have to be taxed the same as a high-rise building that’s in use, but there could be an annual flat fee or something to help dissuade developers from leaving a parcel an empty lot for decades like Matco has done at the Westbrook station.
