Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

They're re-purposing one of the older buildings in Inglewood into retail. Not the fanciest but better than what's there right now.

Here's another version of the rendering. Nothing special, but I agree with Morshed, it's 100 time setter than what's there now for a couple of reasons even though the building's facade isn't actually changing that much.

1- there are three storefront entrances from the looks of it
2- no more parking in front of the building, but instead a nice wide sidewalk

It was one of the three controversial sites in Inglewood that did get rezoning approval for a tower.
 
An interesting infill project is going to CPC next week. It is a DC land use to accommodate a different style of townhome/micro-unit development on what would normally be just a typical R-CG parcel. It is located in Albert Park / Raddison Heights, on the SE corner of 12th Avenue and 34th Street SE. The background report can be found here:

This is a really cool use of a traditional suburban parcel, I especially like the rooftop patios in the render.
