It seems so. I haven't heard anything either way, but with this latest proposal coming out, it make me think RNDSQR Block is on the backburner.

They're re-purposing one of the older buildings in Inglewood into retail. Not the fanciest but better than what's there right now.

Here's another version of the rendering. Nothing special, but I agree with Morshed, it's 100 time setter than what's there now for a couple of reasons even though the building's facade isn't actually changing that much.
1- there are three storefront entrances from the looks of it
2- no more parking in front of the building, but instead a nice wide sidewalk

Yeah the elimination of the Trail Appliances parking lot makes this a win. I'm in.

Wasn't that site going to be redeveloped? Guess those plans are on the back burner for another decade.

It was one of the three controversial sites in Inglewood that did get rezoning approval for a tower.

New thread based on MichaelS's info for the project proposed at 9th ave SE where the Starbucks' and Trail appliances building is. No DP yet, so this could be just a concept rendering, but it gives an idea of the scale and type of building they are going for...

Definitely an improvement over what's there now. A decent short term clean up and the multiple retail spaces with potential patio regions adjacent a large sidewalk is generally what we hope for.

Are they bringing the facade forward on that Inglewood one? The setback looks smaller than what the parking lot is currently...

An interesting infill project is going to CPC next week. It is a DC land use to accommodate a different style of townhome/micro-unit development on what would normally be just a typical R-CG parcel. It is located in Albert Park / Raddison Heights, on the SE corner of 12th Avenue and 34th Street SE. The background report can be found here:

This is a really cool use of a traditional suburban parcel, I especially like the rooftop patios in the render.
