Just over two months since our last update, and progress at The Hub has moved along substantially. The 28-storey residential high-rise has now reached its midpoint, the 323-unit tower likely to top off by year's end.

Designed by ARK for Campus Suites, the UofC- and SAIT-adjacent project will one day be home to 400 residents spread across 323 units. Close to an LRT station, in addition to its aforementioned higher education connections, The Hub will be a popular address for students and professionals alike.

A central piece of the Banff Trail Station Development Plan, The Hub will soon join several other projects in the area. Long known as "Motel Village," the strip in question has been overdue for a makeover for decades.

Set to live up to its name, The Hub will be a highly active project upon completion, owing to the sizable mixed-use podium that will anchor it. A mix of office and retail space will thus fill out the base of the tower, ensuring that The Hub will be a prime address for years to come.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
