The finishing touches are being applied to Qualex-Landmark's Park Point as the developer's sixth new condo tower in the Beltline readies for summer occupancy. At over 80 percent sold, up to 289 homeowners will receive their keys in the coming months.

Standing across Central Memorial Park at 2nd Street and 12th Avenue SW, the location and walkability of the neighbourhood have been key selling features for the project. "City walkability and access to major city events is the key to a modern lifestyle, said Parham Mahboubi, vice president of planning and marketing, Qualex Landmark. "It was an important factor in choosing this location to build the Park Point tower. Our residents want convenience and access to the things they love without the hassle of driving or taking transit."

Amenities inside the 34-storey tower include a community rooftop garden. Architecturally, the building's multi-toned exterior combined with the enlarging floor plate adds a new dynamic to the skyline. "We created Park Point to be top heavy, the biggest floor plate is at the top floor, and looks like a big exclamation point when seen from afar with its black and white façade," said Tony Wai of IBI Group, which designed the building.

Qualex-Landmark has constructed over 1,000 homes in the Beltline in just over ten years — more than any other developer — translating to $400 million in real estate value.
