Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

Rumour: architects from Gensler and Pappageorge Haymes spotted entering Brookfield Res office with drawings/files marked Market Street - Top Secret...
It's top secret, but if you were to have a guess as to what part of the city Market Street would be built in, what would your guess be?

Interesting tweet . People wonder why so much development is happening in greenfield areas. There are a few reasons, but this is part of it. I also think of a project like Glo getting refusal, and can't help but think the city still isn't that serious about increasing density in the inner city.

Glo is a good example. Maybe the project wasn't great, and yeah it was over the height limit a bit, but it was hardly out of context for that area. Refusals for that location should be for developers wanting to build a 15 storey tower, not something one storey over the limit.

It seems like the city can't get out of its own way.
