I'm not talking about speed so much as traffic backing up waiting for people to turn on to 26 Ave, or on to 29 St.Thing with this is you can do some traffic calming on Richmond Road to make it physically impossible for people to drive more than 40km/h. It has to be mentioned that this will take a long time to get to full build out so the change is traffic will be over a very long timeline.
Usually developments like this are on higher-volume, or at least better-connected roads. This one looks on the surface like it is at the intersection of two major roads, but from a vehicle perspective, it's actually not.
Ultimately I'm sure they will add lights on 26 Ave and on 29 St, or something similar.
