I have no idea what this is but it’s about halfway between Calgary and Chestermere.

Seton updates:

Finishing the newest section of the Gateway district. Looks different and more interesting than what appeared to be mesh in the rendering.

The mesh at the Seton shopping centre shows numbers in different lighting. Not sure the significance. Is it the address?

I was out in Chestermere and I noticed a ton of development activity. I don’t got projects these are, but I don’t think we have any threads for them.
East of the city on the south side of 17th Ave across from East Hills shopping.

This is East Hills Crossing. The one on the north side of 17th is Belvedere House.
I don’t know what the project is with the concrete and the tower crane but there’s also another tower crane about a kilometre south of East Hills Crossing.

Isn’t the one south of Easthills Harris Rebar? Don’t they have one in their work yard?

It could be. I’m usually in that area a couple of times a month and first noticed it about two months ago, but maybe it was there before that.

It’s possible, there was a tower crane in Manchester that was permanent. Street view doesn’t show up there anytime before 2023, so must have been put up recently.

Not sure if there's a thread or much knowledge on, but this building in Beltline (NW corner 11th Ave 10 St) is being torn down. Seen about a week ago demolition is well underway.

I have a feeling that the property owner is removing the building to save on insurance and security costs. A vacant building is an attractive spot for someone to break in and setup camp in. Same thing happened with that old gym around the corner on 12th Ave, and I expect Lacey court to be the next one to go after the fire.
