General Construction Updates

That first shot almost looks like a render! What a great job they did

Century Gardens finally moving fairly quick toward the finish...

Century Garden's Dictionary defines "Quick" as "The time it takes to renovate and rejuvenate a city park roughly 1 city block in size in a high traffic area near a central train station, usually about 5-10 years if good fortune is on your side."

The Fourth Street Bridge could really have used some TLC as part of this project. New black steel railings, blast the shitty chipped paint off the support pylons and arches (or better yet paint it white like Centre Street Bridge) and voila, you have a nice historic bridge with timeless finishes.

And the trash! The ground around these derelict buildings and parking lots is covered in weed entangled discarded clothes, food packages, needle/saline tubes. It looks awful.

Anyone know what the deal is with this old house? I walk by it all the time and it's boarded up and used by homeless and meth heads to sleep and do drugs. Really a shame as it's quite a nice house.

What a shame! Didn’t it used to be a computer repair shop or something?
Want to say law office, but don't remember. They did a big renovation on it like 15 years ago, now it's left to rot again.
It was Voodoo Computers. They owned buildings on both side of Centre iirc, and made high end workstations and gaming computers. They were acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2006. From streetview, it doesn't look like the house has changed much since 2007.

A house on the east side of centre was removed/burned down between 2007 and 2009.
