Want to say law office, but don't remember. They did a big renovation on it like 15 years ago, now it's left to rot again.
i believe its owned by Bentall KennedyWhat a shame! Didn’t it used to be a computer repair shop or something?
Anyone know what the deal is with this old house? I walk by it all the time and it's boarded up and used by homeless and meth heads to sleep and do drugs. Really a shame as it's quite a nice house.

It was Voodoo Computers. They owned buildings on both side of Centre iirc, and made high end workstations and gaming computers. They were acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2006. From streetview, it doesn't look like the house has changed much since 2007.Want to say law office, but don't remember. They did a big renovation on it like 15 years ago, now it's left to rot again.
Cash Corner probably dissuades most redevelopment there, lots of super sketchy people around there. I had one guy screaming at me about "where the bugs went in" one time, that was interesting, dude was clearly on meth.Centre street and 13 Ave is definitely the most "American" section of Calgary: nothing but abandoned buildings and parking lots encircled by barbed wire and chain link fence. Such a shame for the intersection of Calgary's "main street" and the 13 Ave Greenway.
They definitely dredged it out at least - I floated down that channel on the south side of Elbow Island a couple of times early this summer. It was almost like going through a long tunnel with the big trees overhanging.I wonder if they're deepening the north channel of the Elbow for rafts?
