General Construction Updates

Would be great to see, the hospital already sets a precedent in terms of height (you can see it from quite a distance), and Seton was supposed the be the "downtown of the south"

Does Seton have any plans to do small highrises like U/D? I went there last week and the North part is surprisingly pretty dense.
That was the original plan it seemed. If you look on the website there’s still conceptual videos with some. But the area I shot is the same spot that was supposed to have a highrise but only has 3 story mixed use going in. So many of the aspirational things that were supposed to haven’t been built yet. There’s an insane amount of 4-5 story condos going up. Also see the pathetic patch of sod that was supposed to be a central park across from the ymca. Mahogany just built their own central park that kicks Seton’s butt.

There used to be a forumer on SSP who had the Taj Mahal as his avatar that was a higher up planner at Brookfield. I miss him and assume he’s not here. He might have been able to shed light on some of this stuff.

I remember him too. He was on here for a bit, but I haven't seen him in a long time, and unfortunately can't recall his username on either site. Oddly enough I remember his real name lol.

An interesting material I haven’t seen before that’s more attractive than the standard awful hardy panel with metal easy trim. This is the prefab townhome project south of Long & McQuade in Seton.

Does anyone know what project is happening beside the Shane Homes YMCA in the NW?

Lots of work going on the past couple months
