They made it too big, and now it has too much electricity so they put this in to use up the excess. Right? That is how it works?
I thought they will be supporting steel canopies?
Thatās a shame that the building couldnāt be positioned better!The addition to the Eau Claire Lumber building are public washrooms to replace the old ones that used to be located at the splash park that was there previously. I was hoping the building would have been relocated to be a little closer to the lagoon so that any patio would have a nice view of the water but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Well, given that they're at the south end, they will provide some pathetic little sliver of shade.Looking at the city website renderings (https://www.calgary.ca/planning/projects/eau-claire-plaza.html) it does seem like some will support a canopy (you can see it in the last photo above). But the ones on the south end just appear to be there for no functional reason.
