Good old parking would be the culprit. If parking was an issue they could’ve easily built 2 or 3 floors.

What are they actually doing there? I didn't think there were renovating the ground floor. Hopefully they can reclad those support columns. They don't look good anymore.

They have completed exterior restoration of the McDougall Centre, and are now doing work on the surrounding plaza. I talked to a worker there and he said they’re just replacing the paving and whatnot. The fountains will remain in tact thank gods. He was unsure when they’ll be finished though.

this renno has been underway for quite a long time, im sure everyones driven by it. the glass half full part of me hopes thats a patio on the second floor but it was a jewelry shop after Home & Away moved and the sign says future home of a jewelry shop. anyhow at least that western portion of 17th is actually seeing some tlc.

I wonder what cladding they are putting on the ends of the new part, the middle is ACM and should look good.
