Right now there is a land use application for the site, and it looks to be recent as it's not even showing as under review yet. The applicants are looking for an increase in height from 10m, to 11m. Likely looking for three levels.Does anyone know the story behind the half finished house on the 14th Street hill by SAIT?

Going back on street view, it's been this way since at least 2012. There was a DP sign on it last year for multifamily but obviously nothing has happened.

There's a similar half-finished / half-abandoned house on 8th Street SW just south of 17 Ave SW. The tarp on the second floor balcony has been there since at least 2009 according to Streetview.

They’re still dropping a lot of money inside of Len Werry, we’ve had guys in there decommissioning a bunch of the old data room cooling equipment and installing new stuff. Would be nice to see the exterior updated though for sure.

Len Werry used to have a large analog telephone switch and equipment to support a large microwave transmission tower. I wouldn't be surprised at large amounts of bulky old equipment and large amounts of cabling still being there

I saw them putting up those walls, I'm like 90% Sure those brick walls are prefabricated.
A look at Eau Claire where the rehab work is being done.

Wonder if it's a veneer brick maybe, can't imagine tilt up panels would be easy with actual bricks...
