Definitely a great trade-off from what was there before. I'm sad to see the small apartment go as it was an affordable place for young people who wanted to live in the Beltline, but there is so much upside to the Royal.

Full steam ahead now. I believe they have already started the tower portion.
The tower portion has been going for a while. They are about 3 or 4 floors into the tower.

Canadian Tire pulling out. No official word yet, but they are not opening. C Tire signage being taken down.
Now expect speculation of what goes in. Big space obligation to fulfill, so should be interesting to see who fills the void, unless First Capital decides to sub-divide the space.

They were to have the whole second floor. Maybe they can divide it up with a Marks, and a Sportchek?
