I can't wait to see this one finished. Very interesting concept but I have no idea how they are making the numbers work...
 
Reminds me of the old Pizza Hut buildings. I like a lot of what MoDA does but not crazy about this at all.
 
Yea I agree, not sure what the hype behind this project is, its already looking outdated from the renderings. Especially for its prime location, they could have definitely built something interesting and bigger. Something like this would have been good in Marda Loop, not so much in the Beltline, especially not behind 17th.
 
I like it, even though it reminds me of those 1970's townhouses with the cedar shakes, it's still different. More-so on the inside with the unique way it's designed, but the outside is still different from the norm, and I like the look of the windows.

This project is not being constructed in the Beltline. It is being constructed in the completely low/mid rise (3 - 6 storey) neighbourhood of Lower Mount Royal. It is perfectly in tune with the limitations/needs of the community.
 
Apparently a few wall panels have fallen off the side of this building.
