Agree on the Tyndall stone as well, especially when it’s the flat surface style.
It’s very pleasant surprise, going by the renderings I thought it was going to be EIFS panels.
We'll have a better idea of how it looks when the scaffolding is gone, but so far it looks good. normally I don't like too many different materials on a building, but it works with this one.
A variety of materials helps to break up a very wide facade. When done correctly, the eye shouldn't perceive a block-length building as a single, uniform structure.
So far it’s looking great. Even with the variety of materials, none of them stand out awkwardly, they all seem to blend together well. Much better design than the building across the street.
