I think this one might be getting ready to start. A different drilling company is on site as compared to the AVLI, as well as more more equipment.

:eek::eek: :):):) Wow, Calgary... you never cease to amaze me!

A few more pics of the South Bank site.

Indeed the case by the looks of it. Different drilling contractor (HCM as opposed to Doublestar) , and also a different GC (Clark Builders as opposed to BMP) I think it's safe to say South Bank is rolling.

That is excellent. The two largest residential projects in Inglewood's 142-year history under construction at the same time! :D

Absolutely. I believe we also received word recently that MoDA's 'Hive' is beginning construction fairly soon too. These three projects will go a long way in improving Inglewood and expanding the streetscape (in the case of Southbank and Avli).

Hi Group,
At Least it shows that the Dvlprs large or small have Confidence in the Economy of Calgary, Beats Doing Nothing

Tnx,
Oerater.

I really hope they do a good job on this, this the form/materials that would work well in Inglewood. Hopefully it is well executed so it can set an example for future projects along 9th Avenue, as opposed to that Torode spandrel mess down the street.

Count me in as a huge fan. These types of mainstreet projects contribute more to the liveability of the city than any other. There are about a half dozen other undeveloped or less desirable uses (car dealerships) left in Inglewood and it'll feel more complete. One thing Inglewood needs is more people and activity.
