I was on board with the Mayor and City walking away from the deal after Edwards tried to strong arm us into paying for what CSEC had agreed to, but now we are effectively paying the total cost of the original arena design. Seriously, we look like giant fools.

6th street underpass was previously a CMLC (aka City of Calgary) project, so really this is a shell game

Money is fungible. But people care what money goes where. So we get this result.

Glad to see retail in the plans. There was a comment in the BMO thread about the lack of retail and that being a wasted opportunity which
