Calgary Retail Thread

I liked it, but didn't get over there as much as I wanted because it was near Marlborough.

I remember at the time a few people who kind of hated it on principle, and preferred Tim's. But I don't think Tim's has any loyalty left at this point.
 
We had a depot in the petron can on the east side here in Airdrie. Maybe we just had shitty old donuts haha
 
Krispy Kreme was great if you went to site and got the fresh donuts that were still warm.
They were also very early into fancier designs, higher quality for flavours beyond their base. I remember them being very good in the 2004 context.

Now when they have to compete with Beebop, etc? Maybe for huge orders like when Glamorgan Bakery would do Texas Donut days in schools?

I loved Texas donut day! We even had that out here in Airdrie!
 

Liuyishou Hot Pot plans to open its first Calgary store in the Northwest.
 
Does anyone know what is going is happening with the south side of the Deville building on 17th? Looks like a extension of the building.
 
Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodles is opening its second store in Calgary in the Bestbuy building on 17Ave.
do you know when liuyishou gonna open ( 10 crowfoot cir NW ) ? i visited there Tuesday i saw some construction workers in and out. and i heard Haidilao is also renovating, but dont know where
