Shoppers moving away from street facing is an odd move to me...
The Old Navy space is the one beside Uniqlo I think, which also faces the street. It is odd that they're moving to a corner with mostly clothing. I think Abercrombie will cut the space down though, and take a similar footprint to the Wilfred next door, and the street facing component will be leased to someone else.

Isn't the Old Navy across from Chapters? I haven't been to Chinook in maybe 10 years, I'm a millennial, I haven't updated my wardrobe since I was 25.

Stand corrected, yea I think that's where it is, which doesn't have street level access. It's also tucked in the far corner of the mall. Odd for a drug store that doubles as the cosmetic and convenience store.

With the theatre and bowling it is already open past midnight down there.

I suspect they want a more prominent location for makeup, and are fine with slightly less prominence otherwise.
