They are easily the best of the locals, and in some ways better than any period. I like the diversity in the projects, something even the out of town big names don't have.

I agree. I just don't find their projects particularly diverse. Chocolate, Colours, Pixel, Lido all have that modern loft vibe. Ink is a little different. I would also say its the weakest concept design of the bunch

I don't know if diverse is the right word, but I find that they are at least somewhat different enough from each other. I find with Qualex for example that their designs are all similar. Embassy Bosa also to a certain degree.

I usually wouldn't be a fan of those crazy offset balconies, but in the context between those two boring neighbours they are perfect.
They might have to call their next project 'Al'

East Village sure is going to feel substantial very soon with the Hat, Ink, Alt Hotel, Verve and Arris about to rise.

The whole east end of it will be transformed in a couple of years. Arris, will help fill in the west side of it even more. good times ahead.
