Nice to see the Flames pick up a win last night. I thought the Leafs were the better team for puck possession and skating, but The Flames did a good job of limiting them to low percentage chances. Despite the 48 shots they really didn’t have that many fantastic scoring opportunities.

Good pickup. Bummer about losing a first round pick, but first rounders past the 7th or 8th pick tend to drop off quickly, so it may not mean much in the end.

I don't mind, I like the move. It's definitely a win now type of thing which it fine. Id rather add key pieces for draft picks to be good now while we have Johnny and Chucky in their prime rather than being a middle of the pack team with mid range prospects.

A+ move and its going to be an exciting spring this year.

I always loved Toffoli back when I was on the King's bandwagon. He kind of reminds me of Cammaleri in the way he can score.

Kylington earned himself a big raise for sure! To think Seattle could have taken him instead of Gio.

THey will get $1M more cap to work with, but this is going to be tough. They might have to just try and win it all now, starting to look like a truly elite team, dare I hope?

He's played with half the team in LA and Vancouver before (and with Monahan in Jr) and he played for Sutter before too. Probably the easiest time a player can have with a new team!
