Calgary Flames Official Thread

For a fill-in for the all-star game, the weight of this tournament is crazy! I guess the fact that we haven't had a best on best since 2016 (World Cup of Hockey) and is the build up to the 2026 Olympics (last time NHL participated was 2014!!) on top of Dump and his BS has added some serious intensity! This is the biggest game I can think of since the 2010 Olympics!
Yep, much better than any all-star game that I can recall.

Flames game last night looked slow and boring after the intensity of 4 Nations lol. Great to see Zary back, too bad Bahl was sick and couldn't return. This coming road trip seems make or break for the playoff push...

They looked rusty, which is fair after two weeks off. Getting on the road with boys could be a good thing, these guys are not use to 2 weeks with family during the season being on the road allows them to get into a hockey routine. I'll judge more after the Tuesday Washington game, which they should have no problem getting up for.

I'm still amazed that the Flames are in this hanging onto a wildcard spot given all the changes and all the farm club players they've had in the lineup. A lot can attributed to Wolf, but the team has been playing much better than I expected.

6 points in a very tough 6 game road trip is respectable. When I saw the schedule and assumed it’s where the Flames would drop out of the playoff picture.
