I was out yesterday evening for a walk on the Bluff and noticed the crown at Brookfield Place is now dark blue. Is that a recent change? I've never seen it that color before.

I think I prefer the more pale colours TBH. I would like to see a nice warm white as the color for the crown.

It's definitely brand new. I only noticed it tonight while walking around, and I can see the dang thing from my kitchen. It should either be a transitioning colour fixture, or a fantastical lamp like they paid for it to be. Goddamn puritanical Calgary mandating that all of our amazingly well constructed LED fixtures have to be one garbage colour at all times (blue or light blue).

That has to be the reason for the change. I'm still holding out hope they'll change it up every now and then in the future, plus things like Red-White-Red for Canada Day, Rainbow for Pride, etc.

I toured this space last year. They didn't run the elevator up to this floor, so they can't occupy it with anything other than back of house space. Such a shame.
