I love that angle, if only it looked that slim from the north-south view, Brookfield would have quite a tall slender profile from all angles. From the actual north-south profile though, it's a bit beefy.
 
nah that's suck if all 4 side are skinny. Good thing is building in Calgary are quite massive which is what i like it's doesn't look impressive on the skyline but once you got inside downtown you will feel it

Thank god! That's what I was hoping for, for them to put up a smooth surface instead of having those mechanical elements showing.
 
Anyone else completely losing their mind staring at that one light blue piece of spandrel along the very top row towards the right? It completely stands out in a bad way as the shade is noticeably different. I hope they fix it!
 
While I will wait to see the completed project to pass final judgement, I am not sure these new panels are going to substantially change the look of the tower for most viewpoints. The crown's glass is still going to look very different from the rest of the tower, which I felt was the whole problem, not the mechanical looking backing.
