Throw in a couple more 30 storey towers in there and you got yourself a Toronto/Vancouver vibe. Unfortunately, the ctrain station can't serve as a proper TOD integrated into these developments along the strip mall.

It'd be nice if this went ahead. Brentwood as an urban node would really take off.

As far as TODs in Calgary go, Brentwood is the closest thing to one.
