It looks like the curvature is definitely doing it some favours! I kinda doubt its different; just that some shape vs completely flat is allowing for the dynamic lighting.

Based on how dark the panels look in the cloudy pictures vs. the sunnier ones, they do have a little reflectivity to them. Still not what I had envisioned from the renderings (I was legit hoping and expecting real metal), but not as terrible as the panels on the backside.
The concave portion looks really good, even in gray lighting, which is the angle that will be seen in photos the most.

The east and south side look great IMO. I think it's going to be more to our exceptions once finished.
I'll even make the bold prediction that this angle of Whatchyyc's pic will become an iconic, often photographed angle once the building is finished.

That looks pretty good actually. Not the shiny penny we were hoping for, but will probably be one of the best looking buildings in the city!

I'm wondering if there is there any possibility that a less reflective material was selected because of the curvature? The more I look at it, the more I convince myself having some more reflective material and a possible focal point directly in the plaza would've lead to some great beer garden sunburns for myself and others.
