This is a design out there done by Raw/MTa for Curtis Block by One Properties.

Did One change from this design to the one shown here, or is this new? These architects just marketing their design that wasn't ultimately chosen?

The name of the architect in the package is Architectonica. It is 629 residential units in 2 towers.

The demo is getting underway on the east side of the site. Fencing went up today around the restaurant as well as the house and the old retail on the southeast corner.

@JonnyCanuck mentioned a while back that they were in the tendering process. I wonder if they are moving on this?

There DP is still under review, so they won't be able to start full construction until that has been approved. However, the site prep/demo work is a positive sign.

This is very cool, lots of potential for street-level activity and dense. I think it would be cool to see a bit more articulation or height in some areas of the podium just to break up the monotony a bit. Looks like a great addition.
