Not for 4 years at least. For me, it’s a principal stand. There’s no way I will be going down there and spending my Canadian dollars in the US.
Unfortunate that the boycott will affect some of the decent Americans, but a stand must be taken

I voted no, the easiest voting decision ever. I wouldn’t spend a plum nickel going to the US.
I’m also curious why four people voted yes, and what their reasoning would be? Other than being Trumpers.

Does he know that pipeline was for Canadian Oil he wants to tariff? What a knob...
Yeah, I mean really. I'm going to tariff you in hopes you'll lower your price even more, and by the way a lot more of that cheaper oil would be great. lol.

In all fairness it was indeed Biden who killed Keystone XL, but trying to get it going now is fruitless, I highly doubt TC is interested in taking another shot at this. We can instead focus on getting Transmountain up to full capacity.

Perhaps there’s others like me that have lots of family (trapped) living down there. That’ll be one reason I voted yes. The other possibility is one of my favourite bands is having an out of the blue reunion tour this year and that will be the only opportunity to see them ever. Otherwise I’d be voting no like the rest of you smart people.

It will get noticeably cheaper to travel there though as tourism demand drops, at least on airfare which will make it tempting, probably by 2027.

So the tariffs next week may just be reciprocal tariffs, not the blanket tariffs now. Trump is such a nut! still can't believe this is the president of the US "deciding" this crap.

I voted maybe, I occasionally have to attend work related confrences in the states but I'm curtailing the extra days that I usually take to go explore.
