Yes it got approved. Now, we will see how quickly it moves to construction, or more likely based on the community association's position, how quickly it moves to appeal.......

The opposition seemed to get a lot of press considering it was mainly a small group of seniors who were complaining.

Anyone who complains about this one should be blacklisted from complaining about anything ever again.

NIMBYism really reaches a fever pitch whenever there's a seniors residences nearby. The way people oppose absolutely any increase to foot traffic, cars, or any kind of noise, it's as if they want seniors to be placed in some kind of isolation chamber.
