In our last article on Kingsland Junction, the second building in phase one had just reached the 4th floor and was rising quickly. The latest update on Kingsland Junction shows the second building has now topped out, and exterior work is advancing on the first building.
Under development by Trico Homes, Kingsland Junction is a two phase project with phase one consisting of three buildings, with phase two adding an additional pair of buildings. Designed by Alvin Reinhard and Fritz Architects, the five building development will sport a total of 579 units when completed.
Kingsland Junction is being developed as purpose built rental and will feature retail as well. The project is located within close proximity to Heritage LRT station situated two blocks to the south, and Calgary's largest mall, Chinook Centre close-by to the north.
SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
