Just four weeks since we last checked in at PLATFORM in East Village, and progress has moved substantially forward. The curvaceous, 6-storey mixed-use structure by CMLC, Kasian, and 5468796 Architecture is now beginning to take shape, as evidenced by the latest photos on our Forum.

Located along the southern edge of the neighbourhood, at the corner of 9 Ave SE and 3 St SE, close to the train tracks, and within easy walking distance to the New Central Library and City Hall Station, PLATFORM will serve the East Village well with its full range of services.

With five levels of parking perched atop a two-level retail space - to say nothing of the planned 50,000 sq. ft. innovation centre, PLATFORM will offer something to everyone. The $80 million PLATFORM development will take up a significant space within the rapidly rising East Village, the project to form something of a community hub.

Once complete, PLATFORM will be a fine addition to East Village.
