Three months since we last checked in at The Concord in Eau Claire, and the project has now reached completion. Signs of life abound across the entirety of the 14-storey, 218-unit development, from the rooftop canopy of trees, to the evidence of human activity down below.

Located in Eau Claire, along the recently refurbished banks of the Bow River, The Concord by Concord PacificArthur Erikson, and Nick Milkovich Architects, has become a central part of the neighbourhood. Backing onto the northern tip of the core, The Concord offers residents the best of both worlds - an urban retreat amidst a sublime natural setting.

A close-up view of The Concord reveals the extent to which human activity has begun to transform the building, the signs of life providing it with a more homey, lived-in feel. Close to the riverfront, downtown, and transit, The Concord will be a prime address for years to come.

Now complete, phase one of The Concord has become a skyline fixture, its distinctive silhouette now an iconic part of the downtown skyline.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
