At long last, Group Germain's modular ALT Hotel has reached completion in East Village, and is now open for business. This highly-anticipated addition to the hotelier's ALT Hotel chain represents the ninth of its kind in Canada, soon to be followed by its tenth - set for Saskatoon.

The abundantly distinctive exterior, jet black and proudly boxy due to the nature of its cutting-edge modular design by LEMAYMICHAUD, sits clearly along the East Village skyline. Nestled along the Bow River, the 11-storey, 152-room ALT Hotel will be the perfect urban destination for those curious to explore East Village, including the New Central Library, Studio Bell, and the numerous shops and restaurants that populate the neighbourhood.

Inside, the ultra-modern hotel greets guests with a welcoming lobby and reception area, services to include in-room streaming via Chromecast devices, a 3,400 square-foot meeting space, an Altcetera food counter, and two full-service restaurants set to open next year.

Close to the Bow River, Downtown, and the Saddledome, and within easy walking distance to the CTrain, ALT Hotel should have no trouble booking visitors to the city on their next stay in Calgary.
