While Westbank's Telus Sky has appeared more or less outwardly complete for several months, work towards the top and interior spaces of the 58-storey mixed-use tower has continued at breakneck speed. To these ends, a recent tour by Forum member AccUnit has provided a collection of breathtaking views from the top, including the rooftop, and the interior of the planned Telus amenity space.

Starting with the roof, the site of the future rooftop Telus Sky Garden, reveals the beginnings of what will be a spectacular indoor-outdoor space. Set to be host to various vegetation, a sumptuous timber deck, and ample outdoor seating, the rooftop garden will be the crown jewel of the development.

Moving inside, views of the the airy, extra-height interior of the future Telus amenity space provide a glimpse of what to expect from the pairing of Bjarke Ingels and DIALOG. A large spiral staircase greets entrants to the amenity pavilion, it to be but one of many whimsical features on tap within this unique space.

The star of the show, however, has to be the massive,  interior staircase, which zig-zags down from one level to the next. More spectacular still, will be the finished effect of the planned living wall which will grace the entirety of the white wall seen in the images above (left) and below (top).

Looking down, it is clear that Telus Sky will be far from just another office tower. Truly a masterpiece of design and innovation, Calgary's third-tallest high-rise will be among its most impressive.

SkyriseCalgary will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
