Thanks to an excellent crop of recent photos on our Forum from contributor gsunnyg, captured from atop the 51st floor of Telus Sky, we can now embark upon a panoramic photo tour of downtown Calgary.

Looking south, Calgary Tower cannot be missed, its iconic form a standout feature of the downtown skyline since its debut in 1968

Turning east, a view of East Village, framed by the Bow River, highlights the rate or urban development still underway across the city.

Pivoting to the northeast, another icon of the Calgary skyline, The Bow, greets observers with its distinctive curved silhouette.

Looking due west, the recently completed Brookfield Place appears front and centre, its smooth glass exterior crowned by a magnificent light feature.

Turning southwest, a view of the city centre, with the Beltline in the far distance, completes our tour. Needless to say, the views from the 60-storey Telus Sky will be spectacular, offering residents and office workers alike breathtaking vistas from any angle.
