I went to Marda Gras, it was great! There were lots of interesting booths and only a couple that were selling crappy drop-shipped stuff or 3D-printed dragons. I don't know if any Marda Loopians? (Marda Loopers? Marda Loopans?) attended Marda Gras this year. Curious it was?
I am currently dog-sitting so I was a bit busy wrangling the dog around, but I wish I could have stopped to check out some of the booths more in-detail and chat with some of the people running for mayor/council who had their own booths.
We had to sneak off to the Leonard developments on 34 ave for a reprieve from the crowd after a bit, but it was nice to see so many people enjoying the neighbourhood!
EDIT: Also I think the road closure on 34 ave at 21 st due to construction actually helped make the area feel more quiet and comfortable!
