The Provincial budget released yesterday includes the following:
Deerfoot Trail, Calgary’s busiest highway corridor, will receive $266 million over three years for upgrades and improvements
Is this just to complete the current work happening ?
If it’s in addition to I hope they use the bulk of it to correctly complete the Deerfoot - Glenmore interchange with a new SB bridge over Glenmore and the NB to WB flyover.
What gives me hope is they say “over the next three years” and I can’t see the current work taking more than a year to complete.
