As not an engineering, I am always in awe of this mountain highway stuff. Seems very hard to do - all the destruction further west from the flooding on Highway 1 and the Coquihalla really stresses the serious engineering and conditions that these roads have to withstand (and not always successfully).

Does anyone know why the section of Stoney Trail west of MacLeod is shown yellow and not more orange like the rest of the freeway on Maps ?
