How long ago? I think Tollo is a brand new outfit... maybe the land was sold with design in hand?
In any case, beautiful project. I think there are some amazing things happening in Calgary's infill market.

Pretty quiet planning commission next week, but here is an interesting project along Centre Street at 26th Ave NE. It is just the land use redesignation, but there is a concurrent DP running as well, so we get a look at that:

I think the most interesting thing at CPC next week is Sofina Food's application to move the Lilydale slaughterhouse from Ramsay to a new location in Shepard. Once that's done, it not only opens up a nice infill redevelopment site, but also makes the whole southern half of Ramsay a lot more pleasant without the smells and dust and traffic of chicken packing.
